Cons
– Time is of the essence – Many jobs may incur deadlines to achieve goals, but when on a freelance basis it’s easier to miss deadlines because of your “relaxed” environment.
– Demanding – You will need to learn to juggle working at home and your regular tasks such as parenting, chores and relationships for instance.
– Late payments – In some cases large firms have intricate accounting departments and payment to freelancers may not be as timely as the work they endeavoured to deliver on time.
– Lonely – You’ll have to get use to the fact that you may be working alone during most times.
